STARTER OFFICES

As the A Grid building is getting full, we have taken over some of the adjoining Otakaari 7 building. Our starter offices are re-purposed university spaces, starting from 10 sqm, that are priced in a startup friendly manner. This is the perfect option if you are an early-stage company seeking your very first office and wish to be nestled right into a growing startup community. Many of our success stories have started their journey here!

These office spaces have table tennis, fuzz ball and even darts if you want to re-focus or stretch the legs. They also contain small shared kitchens, communal meeting areas and lunch tables in addition to basic office services, such as lobby service, printing, cleaning and wifi.

CAMPUS MEMBERSHIP

Campus Membership is your ticket to access Aalto University campus with one membership fee. It includes inspiring coworking spaces, which give people and companies a platform to connect, create, rethink and grow.

Depending on your needs, you can either choose a hot seat or a fixed seat in the coworking hub. The membership is personal, giving you unique access with infinite possibilities.

MAKERSPACE

Omnia Makerspace and studio

Need to photograph your products, create a prototype or organize an event? We’ve got you covered! The Makerspace, located on the 1st floor in the G wing, is run by our friends at Omnia and provides you with the space and equipment you need to make great things happen.

Our makerspace offers a studio so you can film, photograph or design something for your company. You can also host workshops, seminars or other classes or sessions. We also have several 3D printers, laser cutter, vinyl printer and virtual reality setup for you to test and enjoy.

The Burrow common lounge
A Grid Health Corner

The Northern C wing just behind Café Factory on the first floor of A Grid, The Burrow, serves as a lounge and meeting point for the whole A Grid community.

The Burrow consists of the common lounge and kitchen area at the front of the wing, office spaces, and an exercise space, Health Corner, located at the back of the wing. The Health Corner serves all A Grid members as a place of health and wellbeing. You can pop in to take a moment for yourself during the workday or start or end your day with a workout.

Serious business requires serious recreation. At A Grid, Restaurant Factory serves your needs from breakfast to afterworks and everything in between. We highly recommend catering from Factory for your events at A Grid.

BOOK A VISIT

We love having visitors at A Grid! But because of the vast amount per year, we ask that you plan ahead and arrange your visit with good time.

Our Community Manager Leigh and trained guides know everything about the building, companies and people, and love telling the success stories within A Grid (and failures too!). Tours are usually the best way to experience A Grid as the building is vast and it is easier to feel the innovation and creativity when walking through the many creative spaces and beautifully constructed working areas. Traditional presentations can be done as well – but be sure to specify what you are hoping for so we can ensure the best experience for your visit.
