Modern Wellness: Performance via Fitness, Meditation and Sleep

Physical training classes and presentation sessions on Tuesday 1 October 2019 on

MODERN WELLNESS: UPKEEPING YOUR PERFORMANCE VIA FITNESS, MEDITATION AND SLEEP

The event day is jointly organized by the Aalto Health Eat & Meet event series and the Health Talks event series, and also belongs to the Aalto Wellbeing Week.

7.00am – 8.00am: Running/jogging with Heikki Karjalainen (meeting point: out in front of the A Grid house – Otakaari 5 A)

8.15am – 9.15am: Breathwork Meditation – Leigh Ewin

After meditation, coffee/tea/snacks in A Grid’s lobby

11.30 – 12.30: The Health Talks main event: Personalized Health (LUNCH is offered)
11.30: “Better performance with recovery, sleep and fitness” – Tiina Hoffman, Exercise Physiologist/Master Trainer, Firstbeat Technologies
12.00: “New ways in digital health in traditional industries” – Jaakko Olkkonen, CEO, Wellmo
12.15: “Measuring performance in martial arts” – Jan Eric Wargelin, CEO, KickAI

13.00 – 13.30: Core Training Class – Karoliina Hakkarainen

15.00 – 15.45: Yoga – Maija Vahteristo
