Each year 80 startup companies are founded on the Aalto University campus in Espoo and 50% of Finland’s hitech patents are filed in this relatively small area.
Its a large number, so why and how is this happening? What’s the secret?

There are three reasons as to why this is occurring:
1. High density of entrepreneur minded people from students, researchers and entrepreneurs.
2. World class infrastructure, such as labs, accelerator/incubator programs and graduate courses.
3. …and probably the most important, SHARING & NETWORKING CULTURE through low hierarchy structures!

• 13:00 – 13:40: Jazz performance by artists from the Sibelius Academy (Filemon Von Numers)
• 13:40 – 13:50: Welcoming words
• 13:50 – 14:20: Presentation on services and support for startups and founders offered by Business Espoo
• 14:25 – 14:55: Workshop: “Unlocking scalable B2B startup growth” led by Joonas Kylliäinen, CEO & Co-founder of Norders
• 15:00 – 15:20: Keynote: “How enterprises are adopting Gen AI services” by Markus Melin, Co-founder & COO of NROC Security

On the event day, the 1st floor will feature booths for startups and founders (registration required, with limited space). The 2nd floor will be dedicated to entrepreneurship support services for founders and startups.
