The community event is an inaugural event of UniPID DocNet Seminar 2019 on Co-Creation of Knowledge in sustainable development, organised by UniPID (Finnish University Partnership for International Development) and Aalto Global Impact. Different stakeholders from the NGO community, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and enterprises, and the researchers will help participants understand what “co-creation” means for different stakeholders, with a specific focus on how researchers can work collaboratively with non-academic stakeholders.

The event is a part of a two-day retreat, including both plenary and workshop sessions on 10th and 11th October, 2019. The theme of the seminar is “Co-Creation of Knowledge in Sustainable Development.” The seminar brings together doctoral candidates and supervisors with an interest in a wide array of topics related to sustainable development, the Global South, and development policy. In doing this, the workshop will facilitate mutual learning, networking, and the exchange of knowledge and experiences between network members.
