Aalto University Campus & Real Estate (ACRE) assesses the satisfaction of its facility tenants annually through a customer satisfaction survey. According to the results of the latest survey, satisfaction with ACRE’s premises has remained at a high level. Among A Grid tenants the feedback was positive, underscored by an outstanding Net Promoter Score (NPS).

The customer satisfaction survey was conducted for Aalto University’s facility tenants in April–May 2025 using a combination of telephone interviews and an email questionnaire. The response rate within A Grid was 34%. A Grid, known for its dynamic environment, houses numerous innovative start-ups and businesses.
Outstanding net promoter score
The NPS (net promoter score) of the referral survey has been calculated by subtracting the percentage of detractors from the percentage of promoters. A Grid tenants rated their facilities with an exceptionally good NPS of +58, the highest among all tenant groups. This score signifies strong customer approval and their willingness to recommend the facilities to others.
Location, facilities and basic services received praise
The respondents emphasized the advantageous location of A Grid, the wide range of available and attractive facilities, and effective basic services.
A Grid’s unique location on the Aalto University campus provides a beneficial environment for business growth. Satisfaction with general campus services such as restaurants, cafes, and transport options was high. Collaboration with the university and partnerships with students and departments have been successful, although there is room for more active engagement in university-related events and teaching activities.
A Grid tenants rated the suitability of the facilities highly, indicating satisfaction with the leased spaces for their business activities. The respondents expressed appreciation for the variety of versatile and attractive office spaces that cater to different business needs. The presence of well-organized shared facilities and basic business services adds to the appeal, ensuring businesses have access to all essentials that would otherwise be costly to secure independently.
Tenants commended A Grid’s vibrant and dynamic atmosphere, highlighting the presence of other relevant companies. About 67% of A Grid tenants have collaborated with other companies within A Grid, emphasizing the potential for increased networking and business opportunities
Call for deeper community engagement
Despite high satisfaction levels, tenants suggested areas for enhancement, such as improved community engagement through more networking events and better access to shared facilities. There is also a call for continued development in digital services and printing services, as well as communal areas to foster an even stronger sense of community.
The results of the customer satisfaction survey will be used to further develop A Grid’s services and enhance the customer experience in the future.
